Explore the landscape
Shows geographical and weather references that help frame a question about the landscape.
R4LOGIC / SYSTEMS / SOLQUIRA
Solquira is an open-source application in development that brings together geographic context, weather forecasts and reference scenarios to help understand drylands and prepare field observations.
01 / PROBLEM
In drylands facing drought and degradation pressures, understanding local conditions, water constraints and differences between scenarios helps prepare informed field observations and decisions.
Solquira explores how to bring this context into an understandable experience without presenting simulations as direct field measurements.
02 / SYSTEM DESIGN
Shows geographical and weather references that help frame a question about the landscape.
Offers indicators and differences between reference situations while distinguishing them from observed conditions.
Organises results and guidance so users can identify what needs to be checked before taking action.
03 / ENGINEERING
The project combines React, TypeScript and Cesium for landscape exploration with Python and FastAPI for scenario and indicator processing. NVIDIA Nemotron, served through Nebius Token Factory, can assist with explaining results when inference is enabled; verifiable rules keep guidance available otherwise.
The Vercel demo allows visitors to examine the published experience. Additional service availability may vary by deployment environment.
04 / SCOPE AND EVIDENCE
Reference profiles and scenarios include synthetic data. They are not verified field measurements, desertification diagnoses or validated intervention recommendations.
Its demonstrated value is the integration of interface design, processing, traceability and clear communication of results while retaining explicit evidence boundaries.
